A large appropriation from the federal government will go toward a new development at Kansas State Salina. U.S. Sen. from Kansas Jerry Moran, a member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, announced last week that the federal government has invested $4,750,000 in K-State Salina's Aerospace and Technology Campus. The $4.7 million will be used to develop an aerospace simulation center. The federal funds piggyback off the largest corporate donation in history to Kansas State University last fall.
