SALINA — For Hutchinson native Tyler Gallagher, kneading and serving bread gives comfort to both him and his customers. Five years ago, Gallagher opened Seraphim Bread , a bakery and specialty sandwich shop located off the beaten path but close to Santa Fe Avenue in Salina. Gallagher, who moved to Salina from Hutchinson during elementary school, worked in several restaurants in Kansas City before heading back to central Kansas. While he was there, he saw people leave and go to larger cities and then come back and open all types of restaurants flavored by their journeys.
