Had my 2nd child here, and will not make that mistake again. It took about 2 hours to even have someone come up to start an IV so that my wife could be given the antibiotics for strep b. The staff was told she had a fast birth the first time and no one took us serious. The staff was not able to get the IV started in time to administer the antibiotics. After he was born, there was no nursery or additional staff to help when mom needed to rest after just giving birth. We live about an hr away and I went home to get the house ready for the baby to come home. When I got to the hospital in the morning I found out my wife reached out for help, and asked if there was a nutsery, and was told there was one, but only for NICU babies. She was left to fend for herself after asking for help. I thought I was leaving her there with staff that could help take care of her. WRONG. How does a hospital not have a nursery for new babies? Gave 2 stars because one nurse out of the 4 we had was good. The others ranged from ok, to bitchy. We will not be returning.
