A new disc golf course, discussion about public notices and nearly two hours of closed discussion on a housing project were all part of the Salina City Commission meeting Monday. The meeting was preceded by the final study session on the 2024 budget, where commissioners gave comments on the budget, which will be approved at the end of August. While approval of a disc golf course at Berkley Family Recreational Area was originally joined with other items on the consent agenda, Commissioner Bill Longbine asked to discuss the item in full.
