A longtime Salina teacher has been named the new Salina Education Foundation executive director this week, the organization announced. After teaching theater at Salina South High School for 35 years, Kate Lindsay will lead the foundation and its efforts to support Salina Public Schools. Lindsay said after she retired from teaching, she anticipated her next opportunity. After a three-month break, she's excited to continue to be a part of education in this new capacity. "I'm looking forward to helping our teachers and students through the work that the Salina Education Foundation does," Lindsay said.
