After being canceled for the past two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the largest fundraisers to support local cancer patients and their families is back in Salina.Named after the main street in downtown Salina, Santa Fe Avenue, where racers and walkers will travel along, the seventh annual Fe for a Cure 5K is Saturday, Sept. 17, beginning and ending at Kansas Wesleyan University.According to John Berggren, public relations coordinator for Salina Regional Health Center, 2019's event raised more than $20,000 in registration fees and donations.
